hi, I’m Andrea

I am the Executive Editor of Tatler Hong Kong and Editor of Tatler Macau.

Prior to joining Tatler, I worked as a freelance journalist. I have 13 years of experience in English-language print and digital media.

I have covered everything from architecture and design, property, dining, nightlife and travel to pop culture and identity to business and technology.

After spending 10 years at boarding school and university in England, I moved back to Hong Kong, where I grew up and consider home, in 2012. Between 2012 and 2015, I was a staff writer at now-defunct HK Magazine and The List, two of Hong Kong’s best-loved English-language lifestyle publications. I began freelancing in 2015, and was a freelance features producer at CNN International’s Hong Kong bureau from 2016 to 2019. Over the years, I’ve been an opinion columnist for The Loop, Asia Times and Liv Magazine. Fun fact: when Covid began, I decided to move from Hong Kong to Barbados.
